Getting to the Estate

We recommend driving — there's parking available on site. All wedding events take place at Cedar Lakes Estate from Friday through Sunday, so once you arrive, no further travel is needed for the rest of the weekend.

The estate is about a 1.5-hour drive from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Rideshares like Uber aren't reliably available in this area, so we recommend renting a car or arranging a ride in advance.

What to Pack

Late July in the Hudson Valley tends to be warm and sunny — pack breathable layers, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes for grass and gravel paths around the grounds. A light layer for the evening is a good idea too.

Is there a dress code?
Formal attire. Evenings can still be pleasant but breezy in late July, so a light layer for outdoors is never a bad idea.
Are kids welcome?
Kids specified on your invite are welcome. We're not able to accommodate additional children beyond those named.
Is parking available on-site, or is there a shuttle?
Parking is available on-site at Cedar Lakes Estate. We recommend driving, since rideshares aren't reliably available in the area — see the Travel & Accommodations section above for more detail.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors, and what's the rain plan?
The ceremony will be outdoors on the estate grounds. If weather doesn't cooperate, we'll move indoors — either way, the celebration goes on.
Can I bring a plus-one who wasn't on my invitation?
We're only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
Will dietary restrictions and allergies be accommodated?
Yes — just let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies ahead of time (on your RSVP) and we'll make sure you're taken care of.
What time should I arrive, and how do I get back at the end of the night?
Check-in on Friday is at 2:00 PM, and departure is Sunday midday. Since all events take place on-site and we recommend driving, you'll have your own car available for the whole weekend.
What's the best way to celebrate with a gift?
We ask that gifts come through our registry only — please, no gifts in person. You'll find the registry link below.
Anything special we should pack?
If you'd like to use the estate's amenities, pack workout and swim gear — Cedar Lakes has a gym, pool, and lake access on the grounds.
